“As a city, we all truly value the important and positive work that individuals, community groups and organisations do every day to make their local communities and our City a great place to live, work, and visit. These contributions improve the lives of the people of Leeds and help us to deliver the vision for our City ‘to be the best city in the UK: one that is compassionate with a strong economy and that tackles poverty and inequality.
It’s important that we take the time to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate all the work of the City’s many unsung heroes. Do you know any individual, community group or organisation who deserves recognition for their work? If you do please nominate them for a Compassionate City Award.
The nominations process is now open and you have until the 28th September 2018 to make a nomination.
