The Community Champions project has been extended until the end of March 2022, with the aim of continuing to recruit volunteers to share accurate health messages around Covid-19 and the vaccine with their network of friends, family, neighbours, and the wider community.
We’re seeking organisations to pledge to support the project and to encourage their existing volunteers to sign up as Community Champions. This can be a way of providing upskilling opportunities to your volunteers, enabling them to strengthen their understanding and knowledge of Covid-19, and be able to talk positively with others about staying safe.
We’re able to provide training for the role, and will be on hand to offer support to Community Champions whilst they’re volunteering.
